GoldMine 2019–2024 · Support ends 31 Jan 2027
GoldMine support is ending. Upgrade on your terms, not under pressure.
Your system will keep running after support ends. A planned upgrade to the current release protects your data and history, on a timeline you choose.
- Fixed price from £369 +VAT. You see an indicative total before you commit, with no drawn-out project theatre.
- A full backup first. Nothing is touched until your database and settings are backed up.
- History carried across. Contacts, templates and lookups move with the upgrade, then get tested before go-live.
- A named specialist. You deal with Peter, a UK GoldMine specialist, during and after the work.

Get your indicative price
Straightforward single-site upgrades start at £369 +VAT. Adjust for your setup, then request a written quote.
There are multiple editions of SQL Server (Enterprise, Developer, Web, WorkGroup, Express). After a GoldMine upgrade, your SQL edition may also need upgrading, for example if the database grows past SQL Express’s 10GB limit. DBASE setups need a SQL Server licence. We can advise which edition to buy from your Microsoft reseller. All of this is agreed and signed off before any payment.

Why CRM Insights for GoldMine
The specialists stayed when the old company did not
When Wizard Systems went into liquidation, CRM Insights welcomed key members of that GoldMine team, including Peter Johnson, Paul Sulley and Dave Knowelden. GoldMine clients kept continuity of support with the people who already knew the product.
- UK-based GoldMine specialists, not a generalist helpdesk.
- Hands-on version upgrades, planned around your working day.
- Direct access to Peter during and after the upgrade.
- No pressure to leave GoldMine if a version upgrade is the right move.
Why upgrade in good time
The upside of planning now, not later
Support ending is a planning trigger, not a panic button. Teams that move with time in hand keep control of the outcome.
The decision stays yours
Plan the timeline and downtime when it suits the business, not because support has already gone and you are out of options.
Data and history stay protected
With time in hand, we take a full backup, carry contacts, templates and lookups across carefully, and test before go-live.
Stay current without a fire drill
A planned upgrade keeps you on a supported release, with better security posture and fewer Outlook, Office and Windows clashes.
A clear fixed-cost path
Straightforward single-site upgrades start at £369 +VAT. You see an indicative price before you commit, with no drawn-out project theatre.

Common questions
When does GoldMine support end?
GoldMine releases from 2019–2024 are set to reach end of support on 31 January 2027. After that, those versions are no longer expected to receive fixes, security patches or compatibility updates. The system will still run, but the risk of staying put grows over time.
Do we have to upgrade immediately?
No. The point is to plan early rather than react late. A move with time in hand protects your data and gives you control over downtime. Leaving it to the last minute is where upgrades go wrong.
Is £369 really the full price?
£369 (+VAT) covers a standard, single-site upgrade with a typical workstation count, a supported SQL back-end and no GoldMine Web. Workstation bands, GoldMine Web, legacy versions and older database back-ends adjust the indicative total in the configurator. Your written quote confirms the final scope.
What about SQL Server or DBASE?
There are multiple editions of SQL Server (Enterprise, Developer, Web, WorkGroup, Express). After a GoldMine upgrade, your SQL edition may also need upgrading, for example if the database grows past SQL Express’s 10GB limit. DBASE setups need a SQL Server licence. Pre-2012 SQL and DBASE show as indicative surcharges in the configurator. We advise which edition to buy from your Microsoft reseller, and everything is agreed and signed off before any payment.
Will I lose any data or customisations?
No. We take a full backup before touching your system, and carry contacts, history, templates and lookups across as part of the upgrade. Everything is tested before we hand the system back.
How much downtime should I expect?
Most upgrades complete within a single day, often with only a few hours of system downtime, typically scheduled outside core business hours.
What if I do not know my GoldMine or database version?
That is fine. Choose “Not sure” or “Unknown / not sure” in the configurator and we will help identify it while preparing your quote, at no extra cost.
What happens after I submit my details?
We email a written quote based on the configuration you selected, usually within one business day, with options for a short confirmation call with Peter. No obligation to proceed.
